I first met Mandi Mitchell at The Event in Maryland this past winter after we connected online and decided to share a room with another amazing photographer. I actually prayed that I would be able to roomw ith ladies and specifically moms of young children from the Atlanta area as my friends had just moved there. I wasn’t prepared to meet two of the most fun mommies and photographers EVER! Mandi Mitchell and Evie Perez are so much fun to spend a weekend with and have remained friends.

So when Mandi told me she had two weddings the weekend of September 10 and that her associate, Ben would be photographing one (with Evie) and that I could have the honor of photographing the other with Mandi at her alma mater, well…I immediately reserved that weekend and told my friends who had recently moved that I would be coming to visit in September!!

Judah and I made the trip together and my hubbers (Judah’s daddy) joined us the day of the wedding. What an incredible time we had with our friends and we even got to spend Sunday with Evie for her son’s birthday party!

And the wedding? Well Ashley and Dan were the epitome of southern charm, class and hospitality. Ashley started the day by giving Mandi the sweetest handmade gift as well as her awesome signage pictured below to use for future weddings! Ashley and her entire bridal party and family were absolutely as sweet as can be and I was so honored to work with everyone!

As far as Berry College goes, well let’s just say that I am in AWE! I could go on and on about this wedding and this couple but honestly, Mandi says it best so I encourage you to go to her site and read the blog post and follow her on social media!
